According to the information available on Medical Council of India website, for the academic year 201819, there are 8,695 MBBS seats in Karnataka.

There are a total of 57 Medical Colleges in Karnataka.

For 201819, 56 Medical Colleges will be admitting students.

This goes accordingly to about 2500 seats
Also next year three new government college are being set up
