1. Science stream : In between (99 - 80) %

2. Commerce Stream : In between (99 - 75) %

You need a minimum of 75% to get into most of the colleges. If you want a good branch in top colleges your percentage should be greater than 94-95% to get admission. If you have written other competitive exams you can get admission through that marks if you have scored good marks in it.

It actually depends on the course for which you want to take admission. If you are a maths students for engineering in any government college, you have to score atleast 75% and also have to clear the cutoff of entrance exam.
