The competition is quite stiff, since large no. Of students apply from different states of the country. So you should aim for more than 100 out of 180 marks and a rank within 2000,will be a safe option to get a guaranteed seat in a government college in ist round of Councelling.
However upto rank  around 7000 Councelling closes for the government seats.
