Since you didn't mention a particular course you want to opt, I am providing you details about all the courses of Cotton College, Guwahati.

For all the courses the admission takes place on merit bases.

1. BA

Eligibility Criteria :  A candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with 50% minimum aggregate from a standard board of education.

2.  BCA

Eligibility Criteria: A candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with 50% minimum aggregate from a standard board of education and have studied mathematics as a compulsory subject for admission.

3. BSc

Eligibility Criteria: A candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with science and mathematics as mandatory subjects with 50% minimum aggregate from a standard board of education.

4. MA

Eligibility Criteria: A candidate should pass the relevant bachelor degree with     minimum of 50% aggregate from a university.

5. MSc

Eligibility Criteria: A candidate must have passed bachelor degree in BSc (https://www.getmyuni.com/bsc-course) from a relevant course with 50% minimum aggregate from a recognized university.

Adding to this information I would like to suggest you to grab as much marks as you can because you may be eligible to pursue any course but coming under the Merit List would demand hard work because of cut throat competition that exists these days. So, aim high!
