The marks you need to score to get seat in NIT depends on number of factors being.

• Generally the cutoff  score for qualifying is around 100 out of 360.
• If you are aiming for NIT situated in north east side will qualify for a score of 130-140 will be enough. But on the contrary if you are looking for good NIT's like NIT Trichy you need to have a score of about 290+ out of 360.

So you start preparing and give your best, surely you will get admission in one of the best NIT's.
