You are from b category and need a college seat in private institute then you must try to score more than 550+ cause it is going to be very easy to get most of good  private college's you want . Scoring this much marks also opens you a door for government college too. You can still get a private college at 400+ marks . But remember the cutoff vary every year from college to college.
