You just need to clear the JEE main cut-off and be among top 250000 students in order to be eligible to give the JEE advance exam. kindly refer to the below mentioned link to find the year wise and category wise cut-off of JEE main:

In addition to this there are some other conditions as well for applying into JEE advance such as: you should be among among the top 250,000 (including all categories) candidates in JEE main, to be eligible for JEE advance. Also there is a restriction for number of attempts, and your 12th standard marks.

As you must be aware that jee advanced 2020 will be conducted on May 17, and the application form for the same will be released online mode in the first week of may . It is compulsory for a candidate to qualify JEE mains 2020 paper 1 and be amongst top 25,000 candidate, all categories included. Also I am attaching a link for you for the further help.
