There are approximately 5210 seats proposed in 31 medical colleges( comprising of Govt. /Private/Deemed) in AP MBBS counselling.

Andhra Pradesh government has published new rules for the execution of 10 per cent reservation for economically weaker sections (EWS) in schooling and service, by the Constitution 103 Amendment Act.
