In case of the admission procedure of any institute or any university what you need is to secure a good percentage of marks in your 10+2. But if you are concerned about the percentage that you require in order to seat for any entrance exam then you need to more than 50% marks atleast if you are a general Candidate and if you are SC/ST category student then your mark criteria will remain as 45% as a aggregate in your 10+2(minimum), but is is always advisable to prepare better and score well
