To be eligible for JEE Advance, one has to first clear JEE Main and be JEE Main qualified and to be JEE Main qualified one has to clear the required cutoff as per his/her category. The JEE Main 2019 cutoff (percentile) for all the categories is provided below -

For every year there are more then 10 lakh application for JEE mains in which only near 2.5 lakh Qualify. For appearing in JEE mains there is no such criteria of minimum marks but for Getting Into IIT which is Through advance you need to have at least 75% in 12th for general and 65% for SC/ST candidates.
