If you want to just get passed the examination then you should get at least 33% for example passing percentage in CBSE class 12th board examination is 33% it might vary from boards to board so do check once with your board what is its passing percentage criteria .

But yes,

In general , you should try to get at least 80% in your class 12 board examination.

Actually,

What percentage you should get in your class 12th board examination depends upon what do you want to do after your 12th

For example,

-) If you want to get admission in Delhi University then you should try to get at least 90- 95% in your class 12th board examination.

-) if you are going to appear for entrance examinations like NEET you should try to get at least an aggregate of 50% in physics chemistry and Biology

-)If you are going to give examinations like JEE and want to get into NIT or IIT , you should try to get at least 75%  in your board examination if you belong to general category, although this percentage barrier of 75% has been removed for this year

-) if after 12th you are going to appear for integrated 5 year llb law entrance examination like CLAT then you should try to get at least 45% in your 12th board examination if you are from general . This is because to be eligible for CLAT you  must pass your 12th board exam with at least 45% marks while SC and ST category students need only 40% marks.

The percentage required in 12th depends upon the course you want to pursue after your 12th board exam but yes you should try to get at least 80% which is considered a good percentage in  12th and with 80% you will be eligible for almost all the college and entrance examination
