Well i cannot tell you the no of question to be attempted but i can tell you how much marks you should get to percentile of 97 or 98. I cannot tell you the exact marks but i can give you a range

Hello aspirant,

97% to 98% marks in JEE MAINS is equivalent to 127 to 145 marks in JEE MAINS and your rank rank will be somewhere in between 17,400 and 26,000. With this rank you can get into mediocre NIT's with good branches.
