Dear Aspirant,hope you're doing well. EWS is newly introduced category this time. So according to the new bill passed, number of seats will increase by 10% on total number of seats in an institute. Suppose if the total number of seats in an institute is 500, then the number will be increased to 550 i.e the seats will increase by 50. This is going to benefit those students who belong to economically weaker section belonging  to general category. Hope it helps!! Good luck!!
