Every Candidates has generally, maximum three attempts for jee mains. In a year every candidates can appear twice for the entrance exam.

From the 2019, onwards the total no. of attempts for the jee mains entrance exam will be six.

For jee mains you can appear three times. And attempts should be consecutive.

1. With 12th
2. Next year after first attempt
3. And the next to next year after your first attempt.....

If you will not appear in any attempts, the attempt will still be counted.

And for jee advanced.,you can appear 2 times

1. With 12th
2.  After 12th
