Hello Greetings
Earlier the JEE Main exam was conducted by CBSE and CBSE has put a limit of maximum three attempts that too in consecutive three Years Begining from the class 12th, But from this Year onwards Nationa Testing Agency is Going to conduct JEE Main exam and NTA has made no comment on the number of the attempts.
So considering the Previous bar on the Number of attempts then You will have Three Year chances which Total to six since the exam is conducted twice a year.
Hope This Helps All the Best.
