How many times can a candidate fill improvement form for class 12 in CBSE.

Hello,
After passing class 12th board exams,a candidate can apply only one time for improvement exam of class 12th for CBSE board in the next successive year.A candidate can apply for one or all subjects depending upon his/her interests for improvement of marks.

Can we give improvement exam after 1 year gap
