there is no limit you can give number of times CAT entrance exam , so no need to worry about this

Fortunately there is no limit on the number of attempts you have or age as well for that matter. CAT score is valid for only one year. Hope this helps.

Cat applicant must be minimum of 20 years of age and can appear as many times one want to.  the latest cat score is valid for admission for 1 year only

Hi Robme,

There is no limit on the number of times a candidate can appear for CAT. There is no age limit as well.

Hello Robme

Common Admission Test is the biggest MBA entrance test in India leading to admission in Top B schools and in all 20 IIMs.

The exam is conducted by IIMs in the month of November /December and is a yearly exam.

Eligibility criteria

-Completed Bachelor's degree with the required percentage of marks, or

-Completed Professional degree or should be in the final year with required percentagep

-No Age bar to register and appear in CAT exam

CAT preparation does not require you to study round the clock, instead study smartly with intelligent appproach will help you to achive scores.

Hi Robme! CAT scores are valid for one year. You may appear for multiple number of times and your score from the latest CAT will be considered. Even if you have got a higher or lower score in the previous year, it won't really affect your chance of admission. Basically, the credibility will be on the latest score and admission committees won't judge your previous performance or compare the scores. At most, they may ask you during interview the reason you appeared in CAT more than once. However, technically that won't be the deciding factor of your final selection if your score, past academic records and other parameters are at par. All the best!
