KVPY has three streams, and if the candidate meets the eligibility criteria, they can apply through these streams.

1. SA: This is for students in class 11th.
2. SX: This is for students in class 12th.
3. SB: This is for first year studnets, studying streams of  science.

So, it is very clear that with each stream you have only one chance.
