It doesn't depend on the number of chances that you can give JEE Advanced and JEE Mains. It depends when you have passed Class 12 examination . You can usually give JEE Mains and JEE Advanced a year later also. You can give maximum 4 attempts but you have only two year to give a maximum of 4 attempts .

Hello,

So, JEE mains takes place twice every year now and every candidate can appear in JEE mains in 3 consecutive years.So, two attempts every year for 3 consecutive years which makes 6 attempts in total.
And for JEE advance, you will get 2 chances in two consecutive years,the first being 2021.

Hello Gaurav,

Since you said your first exam will be in 2021, I will assume that you'll be appearing in your 12th standard in that year.

So you can give JEE Mains 6 times in your lifetime. 2 attempts will be given in 2021, 2 in 2022 and 2 in 2023.

You can give JEE Advanced 2 times in your lifetime. You will be granted first attempt in 2021 and next & final attempt in 2022.
