JEE advanced examination takes place only once every year. This year it will be conducted on 17th May, 2020 in CBT mode. Generally every year JEE Advanced takes place in May.
Coming to the no. of attempts, one can attempt JEE Advanced only twice(2 times) and that too without a gap in between the attempts.

JEE ADVANCED happens only once a year in the month of May.
You get Maximum 2 attempts and that too in the consecutive years only.
Example you passed 12th class in 2020 then you can give JEE Advanced in
2020 and 2021 only.

JEE Advanced is conducted by IITs for admission in 23 IITs in the country. Both these exams are interconnected as JEE Main is the eligibility test for appearing in JEE Advance. Nearly 14 Lakhs students register for JEE Mains out of which only top 2.5 lakh rank holders of JEE Main exam are eligible for JEE Advanced
JEE Advance is Conducted only once per year.
