Since you have not mentioned your present educational qualification, I will start from the very beginning of the course.

After 10th standard you will need 6 years to become an automobile engineer. You can pursue two ways.

• After class 10 you can pursue higher secondary course with PCM and then go on to pursue Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering.
• You can also opt for a diploma course in automobile Engineering after which you will get a direct enrollment into the 2nd year of the 4 year course of Bachelor degree in Automobile Engineering.

You can choose either way as the duration will be the same.
