The course duration of MBBS is 5.1 years.The duration of academic study is 4.1 years and remaining 1 year is for internship Candidates must complete 1 year internship. The academic duration has been reduced to 50 months from 54 months.On completion of course you need to register under Medical Council India (MCI).If you want to specialize in any field then you need to complete your post graduation and complete your MD or MS which is of 3 years duration.
