For admission in Uttarakhand technical university (UTU) ,dehradun , a general category candidate must have a percentage of 45% in class 12 while an SC/ST candidate must have minimum 40% in class 12. It offers technical as well as professional courses.

Admissions to B.Tech. require the candidates to clear the JEE Main while other courses require the candidates to clear the Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination, UKSEE.
