Semester fees varies from university to university.  It depends upon the isnririre you are going going take admission for any course.

Talking about the fees structure it has difference in government and private universities.  See, in government university the fees for IT in course btech is around 50,000 INR and the same will be approx 1 lalhs in private college.

So, it depends upon the institutions completely. Also, I would say that IIT are also expensive and their semester fees is around 1.5 lakhs per semester  in btech course.
