Dear Sachin

It will vary from Category to Category. Let us consider you are from General Category then roughly you need to score atleast 100 marks in Mains to clear the cuttoff marks and in advance you need to have minimum of 17% marks of Agregate marks. You can also check the cuttoff for various branches here ,

Ranks within 10000 in Jee Advanced can secure top IITs.

RNks within 45000 in Jee Main is good for NIT, IIITs and and GFTIs.

Scores above 300marks is safest to secure any of college and is highly recommended to aim this figure.
