Armed Force Medical College was established in 1948 in Pune.

AFMC provides admission to 130 MBBS seats including 10 seats for SC/ST candidates (105 seats for boys and 25 seats for girls). For SC minimum required mark is 40%.

AFMC has also 10 seats reserved for SC/ST categories and it does not release any separate cut-off for the same so it remains the same as it only has reservations gender-wise like in the previous year for boys it was 570 and 600 for girls.
