Hello Simmi
Calculating the marks scored by candidate in the JEE Main exam from the percentile score is difficult. JEE Main exam was being conducted in multiple shifts and the raw marks have been converted into percentile scores using the normalization process released by NTA. Expected ranks can be predicted using the percentile scores. With 79.2 percentile score in the JEE Main exam, expected rank would be around 218,892 - 248,892 and with 12.18 percentile score, expected rank would be around 864,693 - 914,693.
Also, it should ne noted that the ranks are predicted on the basis of the expected total number of students i.e. 1150000 appearing in the JEE Mains April Session.
