Hi,

A candidate must have 40% or more disability to be eligible for the PwD category in JEE Mains 2026, and with that, the candidate must also have a disability certificate from any government-authorized medical board. The disabilities should be visual, hearing, locomotor, autism, intellectual, and others mentioned in the RPwD Act, 2016.

Hope it helps!!!

Hello,

To be eligible for the PwD (Persons with Disability) category in JEE Main 2026, a candidate must have at least 40% disability (as certified by a government-approved medical authority).

  • Disability must be 40% or more (as per RPwD Act, 2016).
  • A valid PwD certificate issued by a competent medical board is required.
  • Eligible disabilities include locomotor, visual, hearing, and certain other specified conditions.

Hope you understand.
