Your rank should be under 2k under general category in JEE advance examination.With this rank you can secure seats in IIT KANPUR,IIT MADRAS,IIT KHARAGPUR.For such rank you need to score at least 240 out of 366 in advance examination.To know cuttoff for each category if aerospace engineering stream of IITs visit below mention link:

Hello,

Your JEE rank should be above 1200 in open category if you wish to get into IITs for obtaining a technical degree in aerospace engineering at IISc Bangalore, IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Kharagpur, IIT-Madras, and IIT-Bombay.

If your rank is somewhere around 10k also you can apply for good institutes like Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram or with a rank more that you can go for PEC Chandigarh, IIEST Shibpur, BIT Mesra Ranchi or Anna University.

There are also a few private institutes which you can get into for pursuing Aerospace engineering where rank doesn’t matter much but fees are pretty high.
