Dear Aspirant,

To do software engineering or computer science engineering( A common name for software engineering, thought they are not the same, consider software engineering a subset of the computer science engineering), you have many choices for colleges. However, for the top colleges like IITs, NITs, you have to have a minimum of 75% in your +2, or have to be in the top 20 percentile of your respective boards.

Some colleges might give you admission below that too, like few private colleges, and some state government colleges.
