Hey,counselling For nit seat is based on ranking of jee main.For open category all india rank is considered.Also there is female quota in open category.Cut off top nits closes about 20k-30k rank.you can see top nits on below link "JEE Main Cutoff for Top NITs (2019, 2018, 2017, 2016) - Opening and Closing Ranks" https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-nits/amp
