JEE marks aren't considered in admissions in Amrita University. The university conducts it's own entrance exam if you have state quota that is if you're a domicile of telangana or AP a rank below 7-8k would get you a seat in the university but if you're other state student you need to have a rank below 2k and for core branches the cutoff is less than 1k. Also your category plays a big role too as the cutoff for general category students are tough than that of SC/ST.
