see there is certain facts based on which percentile score is calculated, like total number of candidates appeared in that particular session, number of candidates appeared in the session with raw score equal to or less of than the candidates.
so the formula is as follows,
100* (number of candidates appeared in the session with raw score equal to or less of than the candidates.)/ (total number of candidates appeared in that particular session).

With 180 marks out of 360 in JEE Mains , the rank would lie in 4k-8k range. This is just an expected range of ranks. We can't really predict of the percentile as it does not remain constant throughout. With 180-190 marks can fetch you rank of around under 5k in general category.
