This time in January exam the total marks is 300 and so the cutoff marks for nits will decrease in almost the same ratio. Also Cutoff for different nits are different and in that too the cutoff for different branches are different. But for a good branch in nit you need to score anything around 130-140 this time.

This year only 75 questions will be asked so total score will be around 300.Predicting exact score for NITs is really tough before EXAMINATION as this year pattern has changed we can't use previous years trends for prediction.You can target 160+ score out of 300 for NITs.160+ score can fetch you better rank NITs with core stream under General category..
