This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then ,

To get cse in average nit, you need at least around 98 percentile.

For example,

NIT patna in an average NIT and

In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 ,  2480 ews rank was the closing rank for gender neutral for ews category for other state in NIT patna for CSE

And 2480 ews rank is around 20,000 general rank i. e around 98 percentile as per our rank predictor at
