Out of 300 marks you must obtain minimum 200 marks to get your desired percentile

Hello,

To get around 97.5 percentile in JEE Main (medium shift) , you usually need a score of about 120 to 130 marks out of 300.

However, this can change a little depending on how tough your shift is.

  • If your shift is slightly easier , you may need around 130–140 marks .

  • If your shift is moderate or a bit tough , even 115–125 marks can give you about 97.5 percentile .

These numbers are based on past year trends, so use them as an estimate, not an exact cutoff.

Hope it helps !

Hello,

To secure around 97.5 percentile in JEE Mains during a medium-difficulty shift, you typically need to score between 140–150 marks out of 300. However, the exact marks may vary slightly depending on the paper’s difficulty level and overall student performance. Maintaining accuracy, time management, and strong command over NCERT concepts especially in Physics and Mathematics can help you achieve this percentile range confidently.

Thank you

Hello,

To score around 97.5 percentile in JEE Main (medium-difficulty shift), you generally need to score between 115 to 130 marks out of 300.

However, this can vary slightly depending on the paper’s difficulty and your shift.

  • If the shift is easy, you might need around 130–140 marks.

  • If it’s tough, even 110–120 marks can get you 97.5 percentile.

So, aim for at least 130+ marks to be safely in the 97.5 percentile range.

Hope you understand.

Hello,

Although you can't exactly say how much you will need to score for 97 percentile but roughly it will be about 160-170 (can be more or less) for the first attempt and it will be around 170-180 for the second attempt. Again you can't really be sure.
