Placements are not very good here for civil engineering but for other branches it's quite good   . For example ,In 2018 academic year this college was among one of the top 5 colleges  in placements in Karnataka with 450+ job offers. The college provides an amazing placement service. The college has a placement cell that guides the students in a precise way. The packages offered to students ranges from 3 lakhs per year to 16, and a wide range of job opportunities.

Placement record for civil engineering in UVCE is not quite good.In most of government College, placement scene of civil engineering is not Soo good.Companies like L&T used to visit in some of Colleges and recruit few students hardly 4-5 out of 90..If you really want do something great then you have to qualify GATE with good score so that you can get call letter from PSUs.Also ESE is an option for you..Since placement records for civil engineering stream is not good even in IITs or NITs.
