Learn to cross-reference. If you read about places, words, people or things that you are not familiar with, then you should make notes of these words or phrases and look them up over the internet or an encyclopedia.
Practice map-work from the beginning instead of leaving it for the end.The Map question will consists of 10 marks. Try to secure that at priority.
- Regularly re-read the text and highlight important sections. Try to remember dates, names and places in sequence Except dates, places and names, rest everything is your expressing power.


- Write notes in your own words instead of directly using the words given in your book
- After studying a topic try writing it point wise. You can use these points later in revision
Study topics by linking them together as it will help you remember the flow of details
- Practice sample papers/previous year papers on alternate days during the timing of the final examination.

History is a subject which is often considered to be a tedious subject. But History in CBSE class 12th focuses on facts and information and also on how the information was found.
Dontshove your concepts.

Understand the concepts and write down the points.

Dont neglect the map information and source based questions.

Presentation matters the most. Write your exam in a clean and neat manner.

While entering the examination hall, students should avoid last minute reading.

Last minute reading hubs all that you have studied previously and you may it will effect you while writing your exam.

Hope you will get wgat ever you want. So don’t worry it is easy. well, just go through your books and read every chapter and make notes of the chapters in your language.

You should follow the tricks:

  • Read the chapters twice or thrice.
  • Note down important points during the class in addition to the notes given by your teacher
  • Start studying as soon as possible to be able to absorb the most information and to be able to score well in the examination
  • Create a separate chart for important dates that you need to remember
  • practice map- work from the beginning instead of leaving it for the end
  • regularly re-read the text and highlight important sections
  • practice sample paper /previous year paper on alternate days during the timing of the final examination
  • After you complete a sample paper check the answer to find out where you are lacking and use the entire next day revision
