Thank you for your valuable opinion. But I would like to ask that in this modern time of technology and going techy, can I go with handmade presentations instead of going on visual representation?  I really want to show some original handwork.  It wouldn't look cliche,  right? 

See, you can have an amalgam of both. Yes, the technology is booming with exponential pace so to cope up with the pace you have to be updated, ex :- Falling of Nokia and various other companies as they din't match the tangent with the teechnology.Another example, Apple. They also kept their core with their age old ios but they also changed it time to time,  updated it time to time so as to compete in the market.See The digital world has an obvious advantage that can’t be ignored: speed and convenience. In a nutshell that is the value we immediately associate with all things digital and what we desire from it the most. Digital allows designers to sell themselves in the marketplace at all times.So, what's the solution, well you can opt for Hybrid solution. The only winners or losers in a battle between print and digital are the designer and the decision maker.

Actually, I have searched many sites and they say that it is not mentioned that we have to present a portfolio.  Moreover, it is stated that portfolio presentation was discarded back in, 2016. Do you have any idea about this?

Some have mentioned, it nowhere written that there will be interview/portfolio round for B.Des.  But it would be beneficial and preferred to have something for portfolio, in case if they asked for, anything like drawing/sculptures/scripts/cartoons. One girl has mentioned that it is a boon to have a portfolio round as it depicts the creativity of any student. What are your views on this??

Yeah it seems a plus point to make a portfolio.  But it would be a total waste of energy and hardwork if they don't consider it

This time you are totally mistaken. Hard work and gained knowledge never goes in vain. So what if they don't ask for, you have gained one new thing and it will be with you in longevity.So, never hesitate to learn new thing. Btw msd was on fire today.

Let's see where it all takes me.  I am trying my best to get into a college good enough so that it settles the matter that I couldn't work out for JEE. I appeared for uceed this year and I am really pleased with my marks and rank.  So,  I don't know what comes next

See, if you did well in your uceed then it's awesome because forced Engineering is as same as s(e)x without consent.I think most of the IIT's also offers Designing course.
