The circulation of of air takes place between Hot and Cold air in the following steps:-

* first of all hot air being lighter in weight Rises

* cold air is heavier in weight and has tendency to sink down

*When hot goes up then the Cold heavey and denser air is denser and heavy from surrounding area rushes there to fill in the gap.

* That is how air circulation takes place between hot and cold air
