XII exam marks won't be used for calculating JEE Main ranking from 2017 but there is one more criteria introduced related to XII marks for NIT/IIIT eligibility; students should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class exam, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class exam conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th Class exam, that will make XII class integrity and importance now also and quality students will go ahead for taking admission in these reputed institutes.
