Economically weaker sections (EWS) under Gen category gets a reserved quota of 10% under Central and State govts

Eligibilty for the certificate is:

• General Cadidate
• Family income less than 8 LPA
• family agricultural land less than 5 acres
• family residence less than 1000 sq ft (flat area), 100 - 200 sq yards (plot area)
  

Documents required:

• Income Certificate (mandatory)
• Adhaar Card (mandatory)
• Pan Card (mandatory)
• Caste Certificate
• BPL Card
• Bank Statement
• Recent Passport size photo

How to apply:

• Contact your local govt authority (tehsil)
• Contact an agent in Jan Sewa Kendra (CSC) nearby your location (work will be done faster this way)

• Go to the nearest common courier service center (CSC), and submit your required documents.
• They will fill the Certificate form and do the entire work for you.
• After that, wait for a month and you will get your EWS Certificate.
