Yes, definitely you can apply for M.Tech through your GATE score. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is an online national level examination conducted for ME, MTech and direct Ph.D. admissions. The exam is jointly conducted IITB, IITD, IITG, IITK, IITK, IITM & IISC Bangalore. Through GATE, candidates can seek admission and financial assistance for admission to the Master's programs and doctoral programs in Engineering. Qualifying GATE is mandatory for admission to these courses offered at MHRD supported institutes and other government agencies. These institutes include the IITs, IISc, NITs, IIIT &  GFTIs and other Universities in India. GATE scores are also be used by Public and Private Sector for job recruitments.

• Last date of submitting GATE 2020 Application Form 2nd week of October 2019
• Start of online form correction window for GATE 2020 3rd week of October 2019
• Closing of online form correction window 4th week of October 2019
• GATE 2020 Admit card publication 1st – 2nd week January 2020
• GATE 2020 Exam date 2nd - 3rd week of February 2020
