MHRD scholarships is the central sector scholarship for students studying in university or college.
The eligibility criteria for applying the scholarships is the students must be in top 20% in the respective streams and the parental income should not exceed INR of 4.5 lakh p.a.
The MHRD scholarship is applied online. Go to the national scholarship portal and apply there.

To apply for national level scholarships offered by MHRD, you can apply online through the National Scholarship Portal or respective scholarship’s application portal. However, for external scholarships that are available for research, master’s and doctoral studies, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) runs its own online scholarship application portal with the name of “Sakshat”. Also, it acts as a nominating agency for cultural/educational exchange programmes.
