Have you ever heard of Marshmellow test? It is the best technique that any one can follow to achieve their targets. In other words, it is rewarding after an achievement. For example, you set a target stating you should be ale to complete 5 chapters without being distracted and you will gift yourself a 30 mins of video game. The target is studying 5 chapters without distraction and the reward is 30 minutes of your favourite video game. In a way it's a win win. This is a tested and effective method. Another way is to make  a note of all the factors that distract you. It might be thoughts, TV, Games or anything. Let's say you are being distracted, you set yourself a time of 5-10 minutes and keep yourself occupied with the distractions. Once the 5-10 minute period is over, you come back to studies. So you are not completely ignoring what is bothering you but you are letting them out so that they no more have any control over your focus.
