You have to appear for MPPSC Exam for the post of District Sports Officer. Maharashtra will release the recruitment notification whenever there are openings and you need to appear for MPPSC. The eligibility is that you should have completed your Bachelor's degree with Physical Education or Sports Science with a minimum aggregate of 55%. You should have also qualified in NET/SLET/SET from a recognised University. You should be between 21 and 44 years as on the mentioned date.
