Hello,

Pharmacology is the study of how a drug affects a biological system and how the body responds to the drug. The discipline encompasses the sources, chemical properties, biological effects and therapeutic uses of drugs. Pharmacologists are the professionals who focus their work into researching and understanding the chemical processes that take place between living organisms and different substances and compounds. The main purpose of a Pharmacologist is to create, develop, and test new medications.

A pharmacologist's job is to create and dispense medicines, ointments, powders, pills or drugs. In short, the pharmacologists develop new methods of production and quality control of pharmaceutical products. The pharmacology industry has a lot of scope as the requirement of medicines are increasing day to day and with the increasing rate of diseases, new and improved medicines need to be introduced.

Best Wishes.
