Dear candidate,
To become an Ayurvedic doctor, a student first needs to complete 12th grade with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. After that, they must pass the NEET exam or a state-level entrance test to get admission in a BAMS course (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery).
The BAMS course lasts about five and a half years, including one year of practical training in hospitals or clinics. After completing the course, the student must register with the government to practice legally.
Ayurvedic doctors can work in hospitals, clinics, wellness centers, or even start their own clinic.
