First of all, to become an engineer, you have to sit for JEE examination, which is the national level engineering examination.

The first step to becoming an electrical engineer is that you have earned a B.E./B.Tech degree in electrical engineering.

Eligibility to become an electrical engineer are:

• A candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognized board or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks. However, the passing marks for different categories and from college to college.
• A Candidate Should have a valid score in the engineering entrance such as JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, VITEEE, CET, etc, exam.

For becoming a electrical Engineer, you should take pcm as stream in 12 th boards and then pursue B.Tech Electrical Engineering which is Four years course or M.tech Electrical Engineering which is five years course from a pronounced college.

For getting good placement, and good college you should crack JEE mains with a good score.
