Hello,

To become a dental hygienist, a diploma in the same discipline is necessary. Diploma in dental hygiene is a two year full time diploma programme offered to students pursuing career in dental hygiene. Average fee can range from 10000 to 10 lakhs depending on different institutions. The average starting salary for diploma holders in dental hygiene is 2 to 12 lakhs per annum. Jobs include- medical assistant, physician assistant, dentists, radiation therapist, registered nurses, dental assistants etc. Or, you can also go for a Bsc in this discipline for more growth and detailed study of dental hygiene.
